Local Government Somerset is a sixth class county comprised of

Climate In the Summer, daytime highs run in the upper
70's with nighttime lows in the mid-50's. In the Fall, temperatures
remain warm through September and early October. In the Winter, daytime
highs average in the mid-30's with nighttime lows dropping into the 20's.
The first snowfall usually occurs in November. Snow cover of one
inch or more exists an average of 54 days throughout the season.
Snowfall averages 90 inches a year. In the Spring, warmer temperatures
arrive in mid May with daytime highs near 70.
